Chad Greenway reaches out to Vikings fans, likens teammate to super human
Linebacker Chad Greenway recently handled a "Monday Morning Mailbag" for the Minnesota Vikings' official website this week, answering questions from curious fans in search of a little insight.
There were some interesting responses. For example, Greenway was asked who would win in a footrace between wide receivers Charles Johnson, Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Wallace.
"All freaky fast guys, but I see Mike winning that," Greenway said, via Vikings.com.
He was also asked to evaluate Linval Joseph and to project the defensive line rotation in 2015.
"Linval is a space eater up front with quick hands and super-human strength," Greenway said, per the Vikings' website. "Our defensive linemen are used to having a rotation and I think it works best to keep them fresh."
Greenway also hyped rookie linebacker Eric Kendricks and touted Xavier Rhodes as "one of the elite corners in the game" in the candid question-and-answer session with fans.
If you're already impressed with the linebacker's engagement, the following video will probably blow you away. In it, WCCO reports on Greenway's gift of a handicap-accessible van to the family of a 9-year-old boy who was paralyzed from the neck down in a serious car accident.
