Lee’s scoreless innings streak ends at 34

Cliff Lee’s scoreless innings streak has ended at 34 after the

Philadelphia Phillies’ left-hander gave up a run against the

Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday.

Lee, who came in having pitched four consecutive shutouts and

going 5-0 with an 0.21 ERA in June, kept the Blue Jays off the

board for the first two innings.

His streak ended when Rajai Davis tripled to lead off the third

and scored on John McDonald’s grounder to shortstop.
