Joe Torre stuck with Ramon Troncoso and the Dodgers reliever rewarded his manager for the vote of confidence.
Troncoso wriggled out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth after Randy Wolf pitched impressively into the eighth inning, helping Los Angeles beat the Chicago Cubs 2-1 on Thursday night for its fourth straight victory.
