Saunders has 3 homers for Blue Jays vs Orioles

BALTIMORE (AP) Michael Saunders has hit a career-high three home runs for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Baltimore Orioles.

With Toronto's cleanup hitter leading the way, the Blue Jays built a 13-2 lead in the sixth inning Friday night.

Saunders homered with two on in the first inning, added another three-run drive in the fourth and hit a two-run shot in the sixth.

The eight RBIs are also a career high.

The major league record for homers in a game is four. Saunders will likely get another at-bat in this game.
