Colorado Rockies outfielder Eric Young Jr. has left Sunday's game with a strain in his left ribcage.

Young started the game in left field and struck out swinging to lead off the bottom of the first inning. He was replaced by Andrew Brown in the field when the Miami Marlins came to bat in the second.

Young entered the game hitting .318. He is hitting .385 with two home runs and two stolen bases during the seven-game homestand.
