COLORADO (AP) Colorado Rockies right fielder Carlos Gonzalez was lifted from Tuesday night's game because of inflammation in his right knee.

Gonzalez was pulled in the sixth inning as the Rockies hosted the Washington Nationals and was listed as day to day by the team. He connected for his 28th homer in the first inning.

He was replaced in the lineup by Charlie Blackmon, who began the night on the bench because he wasn't feeling well.
