Rangers get Double-A RHP Grimm to start vs. Astros

The Texas Rangers purchased the contract of right-hander Justin Grimm from Double-A Frisco on Saturday so he could make his major league debut in a start that night against Houston.

To make room on the 25-man roster, the Rangers optioned right-hander Yoshinori Tateyama to Triple-A Round Rock.

The Rangers transferred Neftali Feliz (sprained right elbow) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL to make room on the 40-man roster. The earliest the hard-throwing starter will be able to return is July 18, though he was not expected back before then.

Grimm was 8-3 with a 1.87 ERA in 13 starts for Frisco. He had 67 strikeouts and 14 walks in 77 innings.
