Maybe the Nationals' disastrous 2015 season pushed Bryce Harper a lot closer to the brink of total insanity than we all thought.
On Saturday, the 22-year-old outfielder showed off a new hairdo for his Instagram devotees to fawn over: bright white locks.

Well, that's certainly one way to begin your offseason.
Harper, the front-runner to take home NL MVP honors, endured a tumultuous fourth year in the big leagues. His individual brilliance on the field was overshadowed by clashes with everyone from the D.C. faithful to teammate Jonathan Papelbon in a choking incident as the Nationals failed to make the playoffs after being touted as World Series favorites before the season began.
