CHICAGO (AP) Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton and catcher Devin Mesoraco are ailing and out of the starting lineup for Monday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Mesoraco stayed in Cincinnati to undergo an MRI on his ailing left hip. The 2014 All-Star is hitting .095 with just two hits and no RBIs in six games.

Brayan Pena was in the Cincinnati lineup in place of Mesoraco.

Hamilton was out because of what the team called general soreness. He's stolen seven bases this season, most in the majors.
