CHICAGO (AP) The Cubs have recalled right-hander Dallas Beeler from Triple-A Iowa to start Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies.

Beeler, 26, has no record with a 6.43 earned-run average in two starts for the Cubs. He was 2-5 with a 6.02 ERA in 14 starts for Iowa.

To make room, Chicago sent right-hander Yoervis Medina down to Iowa. Medina had no record with a 7.00 ERA in five appearances for the Cubs since being acquired from Seattle on May 19 for catcher Welington Castillo.
