Either the Cubs are anticipating a trade Wednesday or manager Joe Maddon is just trying to shake up and wake up his struggling lineup.

Try the latter, apparently.

Shortstop Starlin Castro, whose name has come up in trade rumors, and outfielder Jorge Soler are out of Chicago's lineup today as it tries to salvage this three-game series against the Colorado Rockies, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The series is tied after Colorado's 7-2 win Tuesday night, handing Chicago it's fourth loss in five games, and yet another defeat to sub-.500 club at Wrigley Field.

In another lineup move, rookie Kyle Schwarber will make his debut in left field. Schwarber has provided instant impact with his bat. On the season, he's batting .352 with six of his 19 hits going for extra bases.

In other news, pitcher David Beeler, who was called up to start Tuesday's game against Colorado, but couldn't get out of the second inning, was sent back to Triple-A Iowa.
