KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) Julio Teheran allowed two hits over four innings by making quick work of the Tampa Bay Rays starters as the Braves won 5-0 at Champion Stadium on Monday.

Teheran allowed one base-runner when James Loney doubled in the top of the fourth inning.

Teheran gave up his first hit with two outs in the third when Nick Franklin hit a liner to center field, but was thrown out by Michael Bourn when Franklin tried to leg out a double.

Rays starter Chris Archer struggled early and allowed two runs in four innings.

Nick Markakis and Freddie Freeman each drove in runs. Freeman drove in Gordon Beckham, who reached second in the third inning after Rays left fielder Jaff Decker dropped a fly ball.

Decker redeemed himself with a leaping catch in the bottom of the sixth to rob Reid Brignac of a three-run homer, though Hector Olivera scored on the sacrifice fly.
