It’s Day 2 of the 2016 Winter Meetings! Stay here all day where we’ll keep you updated on all the rumblings regarding the Baltimore Orioles!

Welcome to Day 2 of our 2016 Winter Meetings coverage! Yesterday, the Orioles did as we all expected; nothing. But the Orioles lost a bat to the Toronto Blue Jays, so there’s that.

However, it’s a new day! If you’re watching the Winter Meetings on MLB Network, Dan Duquette will be on Hot Stove at 9:15 a.m and Buck Showalter will be on at 10:45 a.m.

Now, let’s begin the Winter Meetings rumblings!

9:04 a.m: This morning, contributor Josh Sadlock wrote a piece which entertains the trade idea between Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson and Brad Brach.

While the Orioles and Mets spent most of yesterday discussing the potential trade, it seems trade talks are dead according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports:

The one thing that probably deterred the trade was the money owed to Granderson. The Mets owe Granderson $15 Million in 2017, but the Mets weren’t going to eat it and the Orioles already have approximately $90 Million committed to payroll next season.
