Titans' Green-Beckham limited by hamstring injury

Tennessee Titans hope they have a future star in rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. Thus far, it's been difficult to determine one way or another.

On Tuesday, Green-Beckham, Tennessee's second-round pick, re-aggravated a hamstring injury suffered during rookie minicamp. His status for the rest of this week remains in doubt, according to John Glennon of the Tennessean.

"He felt a little pull," Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said, via Glennon. "You walk that line of saying, `OK, get back in there.' But if you pull it, you lose him for all the OTAs. You don't want him missing any more time because you want him in there. We pulled him (out of practice), but I think he'll be all right."

Whether the rookie out of Oklahoma practices again this week is uncertain. He's reportedly already slated to miss Thursday's practice to attend the NFL Players Association's Rookie Premiere event in Los Angeles with teammates Marcus Mariota and David Cobb.

The hamstring trouble has prevented Green-Beckham's new coach from getting a true feel for what he can bring on the field.

"I've been impressed with how he's handled himself since I've been here," Whisenhunt said. "He's worked very hard at it. He's been a good guy.

"I just want to see him on the field. I haven't seen a lot of him....He needs to lose a bit of weight, but there's no question about the skill set - why we got him. You see some of those things."
