Titans GM Robinson is using Jay Z lyrics to connect with players

Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson appears to understand that successful team building requires not only assembling a great roster but also inspiring the very best performance from each player.

That means connecting with the players, and for Robinson one way to get there may be the music of rapper Jay Z.

Whether players think Robinson is trying too hard or is hitting the right notes, well, he's been on the job only five months so it may be too early to tell.

And as far as connecting with players through music, there's no shortage of motivational lines he can pull from Jay Z lyrics for any circumstance the team may encounter.
