Former Giants punter Steve Weatherford trolls Eagles fans

Steve Weatherford may no longer be a New York Giant, but his heart bleeds Big Blue.

The Giants visit the Eagles on Monday and Weatherford stirred things up by posting a picture from the iconic ‘Rocky’ statue:

After posting the picture, Eagles fans felt disrespected and took to Twitter to voice their displeasure. Weatherford simply doubled down on his trash talk and hit fans where it hurts the most by referencing the team's nonexistent Super Bowl banner(s) at the stadium.

Weatherford later confirmed he didn’t put the jersey on the statue, but the damage had already been done. Earlier this week, Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff called out Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for taking off plays. You can expect an intense divisional battle on Monday night with first place in the NFC East on the line.
