Jaguars get good news, bad news on injury front

Published Nov. 24, 2015 11:54 p.m. ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars returned to practice Tuesday following their 19-13 win over the Tennessee Titans last Thursday with some mixed injury news on a pair of starters.

Left guard Zane Beadles said he expects to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers after being cleared to practice on limited basis under the NFL's concussion protocol.

Beadles, who was hit on the final play against Tennessee, hasn't missed an offensive snap since signing with the Jaguars prior to last season.

“Pretty much when I woke up the next day, the symptoms were gone and I’ve been feeling pretty good since then and going through the protocol,” Beadles said, per the Florida Times-Union.

Elsewhere, linebacker Dan Skuta, who re-aggravated a groin injury against the Titans, sat out of practice and said he doubts he'll be able to play against San Diego.

A trio of reserves - wide receiver Neal Sterling, running back Bernard Pierce and safety Craig Loston - also missed practice Tuesday.
