GM Ryan Grigson: Pagano's contract status won't impact season

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is entering the final year of his contract after reportedly turning down a one-year extension from the team over the offseason, but general manager Ryan Grigson doesn't believe the situation will cause a distraction this season.

"I don't talk about players contracts; obviously I'm not going to talk about our head coach's," Grigson said Thursday, according to ESPN's Mike Wells. "But no, business as usual around here. Everything is good and we're ready. Everyone is looking to do the same thing in this building. We're all trying to achieve the same goal and everyone is on board. Everyone is all in."

Pagano was hired in 2012 and has led Indianapolis to three 11-wins seasons during his tenure. Last season, the Colts advanced to the AFC title game before falling to the New England Patriots.

With the offseason additions of running back Frank Gore and wide receiver Andre Johnson, the Colts believe they're poised to make a run at the Super Bowl this season.
