D'Angelo Russell gives himself high-five after getting snubbed by teammates

I think it's safe to assume that D'Angelo Russell is hoping for a better season -- both on and off the court -- than what he experienced in his rookie campaign last year. He's still got some relationship repairing to do, which will require some solid teammate-to-teammate communication.

It appears things are not off to a great start in that department.

Whether it was intentional or not, Russell was denied hard on a high-five attempt late in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' preseason game on Sunday. Like, really hard.

Fortunately, the point guard still had his other hand to make up for the missed connection. He also dropped 33 points in the contest, so his teammates may have no choice but to high-five him if he keeps playing like that.
