Nationals' Danny Espinosa failed miserably at learning his baby's gender

Surprise reveals of the gender of an expected baby are all the rage lately.
In fact, you might recall Atlanta Braves infielder Freddie Freeman smashing the stuffing out of an exploding baseball last week to learn that he would soon be the proud papa of a baby boy:

Pretty cool stuff from Freeman, for sure. But it's not as easy as it looks -- as shown by Washington Nationals 2B Danny Espinosa, who tried to smash a pinata and failed spectacularly, as seen in the video at the top.
One could say Espinosa left the gender up in the air, at least at first. Don't worry, though; Espinosa and his wife eventually got everything sorted out. And now Espinosa knows he has a baby boy on the way. Congratulations to the family.
