Bucks' Beasley will miss three games with hyperextended knee
Milwaukee Bucks fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the team announced Tuesday that an MRI showed forward Michael Beasley has a hyperextended left knee.
Beasley will take a seat for the next three Milwaukee games and will be re-evaluated after the matchup against Toronto on March 4.
The forward, acquired by trade back in September, was injured on Monday night at Cleveland while guarding a driving LeBron James. His left knee bent at an awkward angle in the paint, and the 28-year-old had to be helped off the court.
Beasley has been a spark off the Bucks' bench, averaging 9.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He was on a five game streak of scoring double-digit points, a season high.
After Milwaukee lost Khris Middleton for half the season and Jabari Parker for the rest of the year, fans will be grateful to see the high-energy bench player back in action in the next few weeks.
