Seahawks at Cardinals: Highlights, score and recap

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Arizona Cardinals will host the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. Here are the highlights, the recap, and the final score.

The Arizona Cardinals will host their NFC West rival in the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football in Week 7. Kickoff from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale will be at 8:30 PM ET. NBC will have the telecast.

Seattle leads the NFC West with a 4-1 record. The Seahawks’ lone loss came against the division rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Seattle is widely considered one of the three best teams in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots.

The Cardinals have gotten back to .500 by beating the awful San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets in back-to-back weeks. This will be the third primetime game in a row for Arizona. The Cardinals played on Thursday Night Football in Week 5 and Monday Night Football in Week 6.

Three Stars

1. Russell Wilson: Wilson will be the best player in this game. He will complete 66% of his passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Wilson will have an additional 40 rushing yards.

2. David Johnson: Johnson had an outstanding game on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6. He won’t get into the end zone three times, but will be great for Arizona. Look for Johnson to have 125 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Cardinals.

3. Tyrann Mathieu: Mathieu has been an elite playmaker in the Arizona defensive backfield the last few seasons. Look for Mathieu to force one turnover and have seven tackles.

Odds

Arizona is favored by one point at home vs. Seattle.

Next Game

The Seahawks have a sneaky-tough road game in Week 8, as they will play the New Orleans Saints in the Big Easy. Kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, October 30th will be at 1:00 PM ET.

The Cardinals will also have to travel East in Week 8. Arizona will have to play the lowly Carolina Panthers in a 2015 NFC Championship Game rematch. Kickoff from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte will be at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 39th.
