Former Super Bowl champion announces he's joining the National Guard

Daryn Colledge played nine seasons in the NFL with the Packers, Cardinals and Dolphins, and won Super Bowl XLV in 2010. He walked away from the game in 2015 and took a long trip to Europe year with his family. 

On Tuesday, Colledge announced that he's ready to get back to work. The 34-year-old is joining the U.S. Army National Guard. 

Colledge, who has his pilot's license, told ESPN that he hopes to become a Black Hawk crew chief.
