Minnesota Vikings sign UDFA defensive tackle Chrishon Rose

Published Jun. 10, 2015 3:23 p.m. ET

The Minnesota Vikings announced the signing of undrafted free agent defensive tackle Chrishon Rose to fill their offseason roster on Tuesday.

Rose is an East Carolina product who contributed each of his four seasons as a Pirate. He finished his collegiate career with over 100 tackles, including 11 for a loss, plus 2.5 sacks.

Now, with the Vikings, Rose is one of seven defensive tackles on the roster. Sharrif Floyd and Linval Joseph are in line to start, per Matt Vensel of the Star-Tribune, but the unit's newest addition can still compete for a reserve role.
