Justin Britt, Cooper Helfet both inactive for Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) Seahawks starting right tackle Justin Britt is inactive for Sunday's NFC championship game against Green Bay, the first game the rookie has missed all season.

Britt was limited in practice this week after developing soreness in his knee after last week's playoff victory over Carolina. Britt had started every game of his first season after being a second-round pick out of Missouri.

With Britt out, versatile backup Alvin Bailey will start. Bailey has started games at left tackle and left guard this season.

Also inactive for Seattle was backup safety Jeron Johnson (elbow) and reserve tight end Cooper Helfet. Quarterback B.J. Daniels, signed from the practice squad this week, was also inactive.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers was out early for pregame warmups dealing with his calf injury. The Packers kept three quarterbacks active - Rodgers, Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien - for the second straight week. Green Bay kick returner DuJuan Harris is inactive, leaving Micah Hyde to handle returns.
