Donald Trump whiffed on Johnny Manziel prediction in 2014

If you take him at his word, Donald Trump isn't wrong about much. Or anything. The guy is a beacon of knowledge.

Which is why we are so surprised to find out that "The Donald" swung and missed on his prediction about former Browns and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

In case you've been living under a rock, here's some background on how "really good" and "exciting" Manziel was during his time with the Browns.

Cleveland traded up four spots from 26 to 22 in the 2014 NFL draft to select Manziel, who thanked them by sauntering across the stage doing his patented money sign.

Just two weeks later, Manziel was spotted partying it up in Vegas while attending UFC 173.

The next month, Manziel was talking into stacks of money like your local trapper and in July he was pictured in the bathroom of a Vegas club rolling a $20 bill.

Manziel continued on with these types of antics, almost on a monthly basis, until a Jan. 30, 2016 incident with his ex-girlfriend signaled the end of his run with the Browns.

And oh, yeah, he played some football during the span as well, going 2-6 over eight starts while throwing for a paltry 111.7 yards per game and rushing for an underwhelming 259 total yards.

So Trump was wrong on this, the first time he's ever been wrong on anything football related.
