Defensive Coordinator Kevin Coyle has high praise for Brent Grimes

Published Jun. 30, 2015 7:07 p.m. ET

Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle gets to use three of the top players not only at their respective positions, but also in the entire NFL in defensive end Cameron Wake, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and cornerback Brent Grimes. The combination of three players will make opposing offenses' lives difficult in 2015.

Coyle was on The Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM and talked about what he has seen from both Suh and Grimes so far this offseason. While he was gushing about Suh, Coyle had an even bigger accolade for Grimes. In fact, he labeled him as the "finest athlete" he has ever been around.

It should come as no surprise that Coyle made such remarks about Grimes seeing as Grimes had two of the most incredible interceptions of the 2014 season. If you need a reminder, check out the video of him make a leaping one-handed interception while covering Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson here, or him taking the ball away from Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton in the Pro Bowl here.
