Chiefs sign former Missouri Tigers star, add to receiver group

The Chiefs added a former in-state standout to its stable of impressive receivers.

Former Missouri Tiger L'Damian Washington will join the team at camp in St. Joseph, Mo. The 6-foot-4 target led Mizzou in receiving yards in 2013.

He'll join another Tigers product in Jeremy Maclin on the team. But unlike Maclin, Washington is no lock to make the roster.

The 2014 UDFA is likely viewed as just a fill-in option until injured third-round pick Chris Conley heals up.
