Documentary: Bears RB Matt Forte is an 'uphill runner'
The toughest ball-carriers to tackle are often considered downhill runners, but Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is better described as an "uphill runner."
That's how Forte is illustrated in a recent E:60 documentary from ESPN. The 29-year-old running back has had to overcome many obstacles to get to where he is today, including the impact Hurricane Katrina had on the area in which he was raised and went to college. These are no different than the hills he tackles during his training.
Now, in his eighth NFL season, Forte still faces daunting challenges. He suffered a knee injury against the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday and must now fight his way back into playing shape.
Check out the 15-minute documentary on Forte's journey in the video player below.
