Browns rank near the bottom in list of cheating franchises of the NFL

While some franchises may subscribe to the "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying" philosophy, the Browns evidently aren't one of them.

A new website that chronicles the cheating habits of all 32 NFL franchises has the Browns ranked near the bottom in 30th place, just ahead of the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars.

YourTeamCheats.com evaluates the clubs based on everything from late hits and PEDs to the 'gate' scandals that seem to have followed the Patriots around in the last decade.

Despite Deflategate and Spygate, New England ranked right in the middle of the pack at 16 while the Broncos and Steelers topped the list.

The recent Textgate saga was the worst infraction for the Browns, but it only received 1 1/2 video cameras out of five on the site's severity scale.

The bottom line is the Browns are pretty clean when it comes to cheating, but considering the franchises at the top and bottom of the list, perhaps they should start subscribing to the theory and get busy trying.
