College football odds: Betting lines for first full week of bowls

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are 6–1 straight up and 5–2 against the spread in their last seven games against teams with winning records. The Hilltoppers hope to earn another win over a team with a winning record on Tuesday in the Boca Raton Bowl against the Memphis Tigers.

Western Kentucky is a 6.5-point betting favorite in Boca Raton at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Only Louisville scored more points this season than Western Kentucky's 45.1 points per game, and Memphis also finished in the top 20 in scoring this season with 39.5 points per game.

With these two high-octane offenses clashing, the Boca Raton Bowl has the highest total on the board this bowl season at 80 points. The OVER is 7–3 in Memphis's last 10 games.

Qualcomm Stadium will play host to the Poinsettia Bowl on Wednesday between the BYU Cougars and the Wyoming Cowboys. BYU is 7–0 SU and 6–1 ATS in its last seven games against Wyoming and is hoping that a game against the Cowboys can help break the Cougars out of an 0–3 SU and ATS bowl slump. The Cougars are 10-point favorites over Wyoming.

The Idaho Vandals finished their regular season with authority, going 6–1 SU and 6–0–1 ATS over their last seven games, including two outright upsets. The Vandals will try to score another upset as a 13-point underdog in the Idaho Potato Bowl, playing the Colorado State Rams.

The Rams also ended their season on a hot streak with a 5–2 SU and 7–0 ATS record over their last seven games per the OddsShark College Football Database.

Friday's bowl schedule features a tripleheader of Eastern Michigan vs. Old Dominion (–4) in the Bahamas Bowl, Louisiana Tech (–6) vs. Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl and Ohio vs. Troy (–3.5) in the Dollar General Bowl. Old Dominion is 8–1 SU and 7–1–1 ATS over its last nine games.

And wrapping up this week's bowl schedule, the Hawaii Warriors host the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in the Hawaii Bowl this Saturday on Christmas Eve. Middle Tennessee is 0–4 SU and ATS in its last four games played in the month of December.
