Impact The Wake Forest transfer showed his chops for Colorado State after he did not see the field in 2025 for the Demon Deacons. Vick will look to extend his distance against a crowded Rams receiving field against FCS Southern Utah University on Sept. 12.

The wideout will look to make his way up the receiving depth chart during fall camp following a quiet campaign with UConn last season, where he hauled in just eight receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown.

Durell Robinson - Active in fall camp Robinson (undisclosed) was seen participating in drills as the Rams open fall camp, Kevin Lytle of the Coloradoan reports.

Impact Robinson, who was limited during spring ball due to undisclosed reasons, is back in action for Colorado State ahead of the 2026 season. The 6-foot redshirt junior missed most of the 2025 season at Auburn with a leg injury. Robinson has the experience handling a large backfield role, logging 107 carries for 731 yards and eight touchdowns across 12 games with UConn in 2024. The 207-pound back is also capable in the receiving game, adding on 14 receptions for 75 receptions during his breakout season with the Huskies.

Impact Spurlin's clearance is a recent development that comes more than two years after his 2024 retirement and early-January transfer to Colorado State. The tight end's potential was once sky-high, so him showing any sign of it will be a positive outcome on his part. In 2023, Spurlin logged three receptions (on four targets) for 60 yards.

Impact In an interview with Kevin Lytle of The Coloradoan, the Colorado State reporter mentioned that Robinson was not 100 percent for some of the spring as he finished his overall recovery process dating back to 2025. Mel Brown was the Rams' No. 1 option at running back without him, and he will be Robinson's primary competition for the most carries come 2026. The latter remains a top RB for CSU nonetheless, and it is a matter of whether or not he can maximize his opportunities for rushing attempts next season.
