Pearce Spurlin III - Medically cleared for football Spurlin has been medically cleared for football, Kevin Lytle of The Coloradoan via the G5 Hive podcast reports.
Impact Spurlin's clearance is a recent development that comes more than two years after his 2024 retirement and early-January transfer to Colorado State. The tight end's potential was once sky-high, so him showing any sign of it will be a positive outcome on his part. In 2023, Spurlin logged three receptions (on four targets) for 60 yards.

Jackson Harper - Misses spring camp Harper (undisclosed) missed Colorado State's spring camp, Kevin Lytle of The Coloradoan via the G5 Hive podcast reports.
Impact Lytle did not mention why Harper missed Colorado State's spring camp just a few months after he announced CSU as his next team. Its coaching staff is incredibly high on his potential, and it is not too surprising considering he showed some improvement between two seasons at UConn.

Durell Robinson - Not full participant in spring Robinson (undisclosed) was not a full participant in Colorado State's spring practice, The G5 Hive reports.
Impact In an interview with Kevin Lytle of The Coloradoan, the Colorado State reporter mentioned that Robinson was not 100 percent for some of the spring as he finished his overall recovery process dating back to 2025. Mel Brown was the Rams' No. 1 option at running back without him, and he will be Robinson's primary competition for the most carries come 2026. The latter remains a top RB for CSU nonetheless, and it is a matter of whether or not he can maximize his opportunities for rushing attempts next season.

He since transferred to Colorado State, however, and is in line to be the Rams' starter next fall. The fact that he's participating in spring ball is a great sign that he's pushed past his foot injury and is ready for the upcoming season.
