Zion Taylor - Joins Hilltoppers Taylor will transfer to Western Kentucky, he announced via X.
Impact Taylor caught 11 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown in 2025 with Georgia Tech. He spent three seasons in Atlanta, and will now join Western Kentucky with two years of eligibility remaining.

Brock Glenn - Joining WKU program Glenn is transferring to Western Kentucky, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.
Impact Glenn will join the Hilltoppers after spending three seasons with Florida State. The 6-foot-2 quarterback totaled 895 passing yards, six passing touchdowns and seven interceptions during his time with the Seminoles. He should have a good shot at WKU's QB1 role for the 2026 campaign.

Matthew Henry - Declares for NFL Draft Henry announced that he will be entering the 2026 NFL Draft, Topper Talk Podcast reports.
Impact Henry showcased his big-play ability his last two years, one at Western Illinois and this past year at Western Kentucky. He combined to total 119 catches for 2,099 yards and 12 touchdowns. With no college eligibility left, Henry will test his abilities with the hopes of making it onto an NFL roster in 2026.

Impact For only the third time in 2025, Henry logged triple-digit receiving yards. The wide receiver finished his senior season with a strong output featuring 55 receptions (on 91 targets) for 888 yards (16.1 averaged per reception) and six touchdowns in 13 games.

Impact Parrish has logged over 100 rushing attempts, but it took Western Kentucky's bowl game for him to finally log a touchdown. But because of his all-purpose yardage, 2025 was still a strong first season for the running back, who recorded 576 rushing yards and 203 receiving yards.

Maverick McIvor - Mixed performance during bowl game McIvor completed 12 of 19 passes for 199 yards and one interception during Tuesday's 27-16 win over Southern Miss. He also had eight rushes for 48 yards with one touchdown.
Impact McIvor's rushing touchdown marks his first since Week 1, and his 48 yards are a season-high. On the other hand, he failed to log any passing touchdowns and recorded more turnovers. They are why McIvor was dropped from starting quarterback, a demotion that cost the QB four games and limited him to 183 completed passes on 273 pass attempts for 2,062 yards and a 12-6 TD-INT ratio.

Impact Hutchinson is WKU's possession receiver, so these numbers track. Even the rushing attempts make sense for him given his role. Oddly, Hutchinson has more rushing touchdowns than receiving touchdowns against FBS opponents this season.

Impact The Hilltoppers decided to stick with Tisdale over Maverick McIvor, now healthy, for this game, and it didn't pan out. Western Kentucky lost by three in a game where a win would have clinched a spot in the conference title game. There is definitely a question now of who starts WKU's next game.
