Impact Anderson started for Wyoming on Saturday, though he'd only play two drives before sitting in favor of freshman Mason Drube. The sophomore Anderson will finish the season with a 56.3 completion percentage for 1,971 yards, 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions across 12 games. He'll likely have to compete to retain the starting job in 2026.

Mason Drube - Makes collegiate debut Drube was 17-for-32 passing for 179 yards and an interception during Saturday's 27-7 loss against Hawaii. He also had 11 rushes for 15 yards.
Impact Drube got an extended look under center in Wyoming's season finale, replacing Kaden Anderson in the second quarter. While the final numbers weren't great, Drube, the top recruit out of the state of Wyoming in the 2025 class, did showcase some potential and should be in the mix for the starting job in 2026.

Impact Anderson had struggled greatly in his past two starts, combining to complete merely 18 of 47 passing attempts for 157 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions. While he completed only 56.4 percent of his passes Saturday, he finished with his most passing yards since Week 8 and didn't turn the ball over. He's thrown for 1,948 yards with a 12:10 TD:INT across 11 games this season.
