Impact Now that Wilson's knee is no longer infected, he can focus on his 2026 season. Between 2024 and 2025, the tight end lone's stat was a carry for negative yardage, so he will look to rectify his less-than-minimal output.

Impact Harris missed the final game of his freshman season with a lower body ailment, but the tailback is fully healthy once again ahead of his sophomore campaign. Impact Sims' latest update indicates he is out for the spring, though there is a strong chance his knee injury will not cause any health-based absences just before the 2026 FBS season. The year before, he underwent surgery to repair said knee, a procedure that ultimately ended his short 2025.

Impact Holman joins the Cowboys after playing last season with Western Illinois. The junior running back enjoyed a productive campaign totaling 231 carries for 1,063 yards and seven touchdowns while also recording 39 receptions for 314 yards and two scores through the air. He will be competing for a starting role on offense.

He'll likely have to compete to retain the starting job in 2026.

Impact Drube got an extended look under center in Wyoming's season finale, replacing Kaden Anderson in the second quarter. While the final numbers weren't great, Drube, the top recruit out of the state of Wyoming in the 2025 class, did showcase some potential and should be in the mix for the starting job in 2026.
