Tucker Kilcrease - Replaces Crowder, struggles in loss Kilcrease completed 12 of 23 passes for 116 yards and two interceptions during Tuesday's 17-13 defeat versus Jacksonville State. He also had 12 rushes for 14 yards.

Impact Kilcrease entered the game for an injured Goose Crowder, and took the majority of the reps at quarterback after the latter was banged up and only played limited snaps. Still, he struggled, tossing two picks and struggling with his efficiency. Kilcrease got plenty of action in his junior year, tossing for 1,537 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 126 yards and five scores. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining.

Goose Crowder - Limited snaps in bowl loss Crowder was 3-for-6 passing for 13 yards during Tuesday's 17-13 loss to Jacksonville State. He also had two rushes for 20 yards.

Impact Crowder got the start for Troy but was shaken up after taking a hit following a scramble. He proceeded to leave the game for Tucker Kilcrease, only to return and then be removed from the game again. That predictably led to a quiet outing from the gunslinger production-wise. Crowder had an up-and-down year, but still tallied 13 total touchdowns and 1,357 all-purpose yards across essentially six full games.

Impact Crowder was carted to the locker room with an ankle injury during the Sun Belt Championship Game, but he's been given the green light to face Jacksonville State in the Salute to Veterans Bowl. He has racked up 1,314 passing yards and an 11:5 TD:INT during an injury-riddled 2025 campaign.

Impact Crowder is seemingly healthy again after having been carted off the field during the Dec. 15 conference championship game versus James Madison. He should be good to go for the team's matchup versus Jacksonville State during the Salute to Veterans Bowl on Dec. 16.

Impact Meadows was Troy's top ball-carrier, pacing the team with 159 carries for 695 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and six touchdowns in his junior season. He also got involved as a receiver for the first time in his career, catching 11 passes for 64 yards. The tailback will now look for a bigger program for his senior season, and should encounter plenty of interested teams.
