Tuck describes rage-induced timeout in Chiefs win last season

Justin Tuck won two Super Bowls during his time with the New York Giants. The defensive end has no tolerance for losing play.

That's why No. 91 nearly blew a gasket when he had to burn a timeout last season to prevent fellow defenders Sio Moore and Khalil Mack from receiving a sack dance-induced offsides call.

"I think it was a complete bubbling up of frustration, being 0-10 (at the time)," Tuck told Highly Questionable with Dan LeBatard about the play. "Being the veteran I am, I realized we don't have anything to celebrate."

Moore and Mack disagreed. With just over 40 seconds to go in a one-score game, the duo celebrated a sack 20 yards downfield. Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith rushed to get the snap off as they shook hands, but was thwarted by Tuck's timeout.

Then, the veteran gave his young teammates an earful for their lack of situational awareness.

"I guess I let my emotions get the best of me in that situation," Tuck said.

Oakland is thankful for Tuck's tirade. That timeout helped the team notch its first win of 2014.
