Report: Jets work out four kickers with Folk (quad) out indefinitely

For the first time in five years, the New York Jets have found themselves in the market for a kicker.

Nick Folk suffered a strained quad early in Sunday's game against the Jaguars and was unable to kick in the game, though he remained active to hold for Ryan Quigley, who was the team's kicker in spot duty. According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Folk is not expected to play Thursday against the Bills and will be out for a minimum of four weeks.

With Folk out indefinitely, the Jets are forced to move quickly in adding a kicker, and they began that process on Monday. Costello reported that the Jets worked out Billy Cundiff, Garrett Hartley, Kyle Brindza and Randy Bullock on Monday.

Folk has been a reliable kicker for the Jets over the past six seasons, converting on 80.6 percent of his field goal attempts in his career. He's also extremely durable, having played in every game since joining the Jets in 2010.
