Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson posted some eerie photographs to Twitter on Tuesday morning.

Is Megatron on his way to a bank robbery?

Nope, Johnson is just working out. Before speculation could get completely out of hand, the receiver posted a follow-up tweet explaining the spooky gear he's sporting.

That's relieving.

Johnson will turn 30 and is entering his ninth NFL season, so keeping his body in tip-top shape is of the utmost importance. Last year, for example, a high-ankle sprain sapped some of Johnson's production. By season's end, his reception (71) and yardage (1,077) totals were the lowest since 2009.

Johnson's health and conditioning will be at the center of his pursuit of a sixth-consecutive Pro Bowl appearance in 2015.
