Hue Jackson says he plans to keep Cody Parkey despite his awful performance

It doesn't take much for a team to go in a different direction when it comes to kickers. But despite Cody Parkey missing three kicks, including a game-winning 46-yarder as time expired against the Dolphins on Sunday, Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is standing behind the 24-year-old kicker.

When asked Monday if he plans to keep Parkey on the roster, Jackson said "Yes, I do right now.''

Parkey's misses were key in Cleveland's 30-24 overtime loss to Miami. If he had made any one of the three, the Browns would have earned their first win of the season. Instead, Cleveland fell to 0-3 as it heads to Washington on Sunday.

It's probably safe to assume that Parkey will be on a very short leash from here on out.
