Falcons at Raiders: Week 2 inactives
The Atlanta Falcons will head to Oakland to face the upstart Raiders in Week 2 of the NFL season. Here are the players who are listed as inactive.
The Oakland Raiders are flying high after an improbable victory on the road in Week 1. The Raiders were losing pretty much the entire game against the New Orleans Saints, before reeling off 22 points in the fourth quarter. With a chance to tie the game late, the Raiders instead went for a two-point conversion, snatching the victory against the Saints.
Atlanta was not as fortunate in Week 1, dropping their home opener to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston put on a show in the first start of his sophomore season, throwing for four touchdowns to four different players. The Atlanta defense looked lost all game long, and could be in for an even longer day against the Raiders.
The Raiders boast one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL in Derek Carr. He has been the team’s starter since day 1, and continues to develop a nice repertoire with guys like Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. He threw 32 touchdowns last season, and in Week 1 of this year, tossed for 319 yards and a score.

The Falcons are always going to be competitive on offense as long as Matt Ryan is under center. Since joining the NFL, Ryan has been one of the better quarterbacks in the NFC, and he also has the luxury of having argubaly the best receiver in football on his team. Julio Jones is going to have a big day for the Falcons against the Raiders, but the question is who else is going to step up.
Here is a list of inactives for Sunday’s matchup between the Raiders and Falcons.

Look for Oakland to run their record to 2-0 in this one, while the Falcons leave O.co Coliseum still in search of their first victory of the 2016 season. The Falcons’ offense will likely have a good day against the Raiders, but the defense will not be able to contain Derek Carr and company.
