Dolphins selling Sun Life Stadium seats

Published Jul. 7, 2015 9:47 p.m. ET

Want a little piece of history? You are in luck as the Miami Dolphins are selling the orange seats from Sun Life Stadium as they are continuing to renovate the stadium in advance of the upcoming season.

Season ticket-holders from the 1960s and 1970s will get the first shot at buying the orange seats at 11 a.m before the general public gets in on the action starting at 2 p.m.

Additionally, if you are lucky, you could try and buy some seats that are autographed by some Dolphin greats such as former head coach Don Shula, quarterbacks Bob Griese and Dan Marino as well as defensive end Jason Taylor, wide receiver Mark Duper and offensive lineman Larry Little.

If you are having second thoughts about buying the seat, know that it is going to a good cause, besides your Dolphins man cave of course. The money will benefit the team’s foundation to support education, health and volunteer work in the region.
