Chip Kelly: I have no regrets keeping Cooper, despite his comments

Earlier this week, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly admitted that the Riley Cooper situation might be one factor fueling claims that Kelly is racist. For those who don't know the details, Cooper was caught on camera yelling a racist slur at a concert. Despite Kelly's admission, he has no regrets about his decision to not release Cooper after the incident.

"I think Riley made a mistake," Kelly said, per the Philadelphia Daily Inquirer. "I look at that as a specific incident, and he was 100 percent wrong. Those are things that should never be said, and I hope he learned his lesson. I think he regrets what he did that day, every single day. I see that. But do I regret what I did in terms of how we handled Riley? No, we don't."
