Tyrod Taylor on pace to set NFL record, and not with his legs
When Tyrod Taylor is on the field for the Buffalo Bills, he elevates the offense to another level like EJ Manuel can't.
He's led the Bills to a 4-4 record despite missing two games, both of which Buffalo lost. Taylor is known as a running quarterback, but in his six games, he's done most of his damage with his arm. Incredibly, he's completed a league-leading 71.8 percent of his passes and has thrown just four interceptions to 10 touchdown passes.
His outstanding completion percentage puts him on pace to break Drew Brees' NFL record of 71.2 percent, which would undoubtedly be one of the biggest surprises of the season.
Taylor completed 11-of-12 passes on Sunday, good for a 91.7 completion percentage, which certainly helped boost his season total. With his stellar play this year, he's proved Rex Ryan right for naming him the Bills' starting quarterback for 2015. Taylor and the Bills have a tough test this week as they're set to pay a visit to the Jets in the Meadowlands.
