Koji Uehara experienced a decade's worth of thrills while pitching in Japan, none of which compared to beating the New York Yankees in his major league debut.

Uehara allowed one run over five innings, Nick Markakis went 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs, and the Baltimore Orioles beat Chien-Ming Wang and the Yankees 7-5 Wednesday night.

Baltimore improved to 2-0 with its second straight win over New York.
