Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Houston Texans offered few memorable moments for the Tennessee Titans as team, but did generate a pair of individual highlights for rookie wide receiver Tre McBride.

The Titans' 2015 seventh-round draft pick out of William & Mary, McBride recorded his first NFL reception in the defeat and followed it up with his first career touchdown catch on a one-yard pass from quarterback Zach Mettenberger with 1:31 remaining.

“I got both my first catch and my first score, so I am really happy with that,’’ McBride said. “I wish it could have come in a win, but it’s progress. We’re moving forward as a team, and I’m moving forward as an individual and my season has just progressed in a positive direction.

“And that is all you can really hope for, is getting better every time you get an opportunity.”

McBride finished the game with two catches for eight yards and touchdown. He's appeared in five games since being promoted from Tennessee's practice squad in November.
