Seahawks' Lewis back from injury, reclaims starting center job
The Seattle Seahawks made a change on their offensive line, elevating Patrick Lewis to the starting center for Sunday night's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
It marks the second time this season that the Seahawks have decided to go with Lewis at center. He was named the starter for a Week 6 clash with the Carolina Panthers, but suffered an ankle injury that sidelined him for the past two games. Drew Nowak started the first five contests.
#Seahawks OL coach Tom Cable says C Patrick Lewis won't lose starting job bc of ankle injury. "It's still his ball." Will start Sunday vs AZ

“When we made the move and put Patrick in there, then he got hurt, and so we don’t take jobs away around here by injury," Seahawks offensive line coach Tom Cable said. “So it’s still his ball, and he’ll have the opportunity to go prove that Sunday."
Lewis made four starts last season - his first with Seattle - and two of them came against the Cardinals. Seattle won both of those games by a combined 54-9 score. “I think he’s fired up," Cable said. “I’m fired up for him."
In other practice news, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said speedy wideout Paul Richardson, sidelined since suffering a torn ACL in January, will return to the lineup against Arizona. Richardson averaged 18.1 yards on 29 catches as a rookie last season.
