Pete Carroll tossed Michael Bennett out of Seahawks practice for 'a skirmish'

It's been an eventful week for Michael Bennett.

First, he compared sacking Cam Newton to making love. Then, he and brother Martellus gave their unfiltered opinion on the rest of the NFL's elite quarterbacks.

But that pales in comparison to Thursday, when the Seattle Seahawks defensive end was thrown out of practice by head coach Pete Carroll for getting too heated.

Bennett reportedly was involved in an altercation with guard Mark Glowinski, but there were indications that first-round pick Germain Ifedi was the real source of Bennett's ire. The two players, who both attended Texas A&M, clashed earlier this week in practice. At the time, Coach Carroll seemed to be OK with the intensity:

Funny how 48 hours can change a coach's mind. But Carroll should know Bennett is a bit of a wild card. He's the same player who "borrowed" a police officer's bicycle in order to take a victory lap after the 2015 NFC championship game.
