Redskins lose CB Josh Norman to a concussion

Published Nov. 15, 2016 1:51 p.m. ET

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman left the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with a concussion.

Norman, who signed a five-year, $75 million deal with Washington after making the Pro Bowl for the first time last season with Carolina, got off to a slow start with his new team but heated up along with the Redskins as they won four straight after an 0-2 start.

Norman hasn’t missed a game since the 2014 season, but he’ll be on an unusual schedule getting ready for next weekend given that Washington will travel to London this week to get ready for next Sunday’s game there against the Bengals.
