TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) A group that wants to legalize marijuana use in Ohio says its investors include NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson.

The group called ResponsibleOhio released a list of some of its backers on Friday.

The group says Robertson signed on because he supports medical marijuana use. Robertson played at the University of Cincinnati before going on to a stellar NBA career with the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks.

The list also includes fashion designer Nanette Lepore and NFL defense end Frostee Rucker, who played for the Arizona Cardinals last season and previously had stints in Cleveland and Cincinnati.

ResponsibleOhio hopes to put its ballot measure before voters this fall. It's one of two legalization campaigns in Ohio despite opposition from all five statewide officeholders.
