EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) Defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka and offensive linemen Geoff Schwartz and Adam Snyder are among five New York Giants going on injured reserve Tuesday, increasing the team's total to 20.

Defensive end Robert Ayers and linebacker Terrell Manning also went on the list.

Kiwanuka's streak of 63 straight games was snapped Sunday when he missed the loss at Jacksonville with a knee injury. Ayers started in his place, then tore a pectoral muscle. Ayers was tied for the team lead with five sacks.

Schwartz, a major offseason acquisition, missed the first 10 games with a dislocated toe. Then he hurt his ankle Sunday.

New York signed running back Chris Ogbonnaya and added from the practice squad guard Eric Herman, defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton and linebacker James Davidson.

The Giants cannot replace Manning on the roster for three weeks under NFL rules because he was just signed off Cincinnati's practice squad.
